We all handle crisis differently, but we can all agree that going through one isn’t fun. For many leaders, the pressure that comes when dealing with crisis can be uncomfortable and discouraging. Liz Forkin Bohannon, founder and CEO of Sseko Designs, explains that while surviving a crisis may be a difficult experience, with a renewed perspective it can also be a time of maturity, change, and survival.

Surviving a crisis may look different for everyone, but we all share the propensity to react according to our emotions. A great leader is one who takes the time to learn how to respond during a crisis rather than react.

Liz talks about the difference between our reactions and responses and how leaders can properly navigate the two.
