Research 101 - Designing and Conducting VR Research

Educators in VR Researchers

PAST EVENT

Starting a VR research program can be confusing & intimidating, What do you measure? How do you measure it? How do you design and conduct research in VR so that you can answer your research question? Join us for a discussion lead by Anthony Chaston PhD, a professor of Psychology and Research Methodology at Mount Royal University in Canada. He will discuss the basic components of a typical VR research project, and how to organize them into an effective and efficient research plan.

The Educators in VR Research Team features researchers from across the spectrum of VR/AR/XR research and development, coming together to share their knowledge, techniques, and research and learn from each other. Join us to discuss the possibilities and potential of research in VR. We host regular meetups and workshops for discussion and learning. If you would like to join the discussion, please join our Educators in VR Discord for Research
